Zamenhof in Jewish Currents

Jewish Currents, "A Progressive, Secular Voice," is a magazine that carries on the tradition of left-wing secular Yiddishist Jewish culture that was almost killed off in the 1950s. I have found two mentions of Zamenhof on its web site.

A Holocaust Survivor Visits Poland, Isak Arbus, 1983

The visit, of course, included a visit to Zamenhof's grave in Warsaw.

JC's blog commemorates significant people and events on the calendar. July 26 is Esperanto's birthday:

July 26: Esperanto
by Lawrence Bush on July 25, 2010

Note also that there is an English Wikipedia article on Jewish Currents (magazine) and a crude Esperanto translation:

Judaj Fluoj (revuo)
